Infection Control - NSW Government Subsidised Training

This course provides training in infection control standards in a clinic environment during skin penetration treatments. It will equip you with knowledge of state or territory and local council requirements. You will learn to identify, manage and control infection risks to clients, colleagues, and yourself.

This course applies to beauty therapists who work in beauty therapy salons, clinics and in cosmetic medical clinics.

Upon successful completion of this short course, you will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment in SHBBINF001 Maintain Infection Control Standards.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ACCESS NSW GOVERNMENT-SUBSIDISED TRAINING?

1. An Australian citizen or meet the criteria of being an Australian permanent resident, a humanitarian visa holder, or a New Zealand citizen;

2. Aged 15 years or older;

3. No longer be at school;

4. Living or working in NSW;

OR

5. Registered as a NSW apprentice or new entrant trainee.
