Course Description

This is a 1 day course which provides training in infection control standards in a clinic environment during skin penetration treatments. This course will equip you with knowledge of state or territory and local council requirements. You will learn to identify, manage and control infection risks to clients, colleagues, and yourself.

This course applies to beauty therapists who work in beauty therapy salons, clinics and in cosmetic medical clinics.

At the conclusion of the short course, you will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment in SHBBINF001 Maintain infection control standard
