SMART AND SKILLED COURSES

If you live or work in NSW you have the opportunity to access a subsidised training course under NSW Smart and Skilled.
Smart and Skilled government subsidised training makes gaining your qualification affordable and achievable. The majority of course costs are funded by the NSW Government – and you can reserve your Smart and Skilled government funded training place now. It’s a key part of the NSW vocational education and training system.
Smart and Skilled gives eligible students:
- an entitlement to government-subsidised training up to and including Certificate III
- government funding for higher-level courses (Certificate IV and above) in targeted priority areas.

DIPLOMA OF LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT (DOMESTIC)

National Qualification Code: HLT52021. *This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.* The Diploma of Remedial Massage is designed for people wanting to specialise in remedial massage as a highly trained therapist who may be working with allied health professionals.

DIPLOMA OF BEAUTY THERAPY (DOMESTIC)

National Qualification Code: SHB50121. *This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.* The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is designed to reflect the role of individuals employed as beauty therapists to provide a broad range of beauty therapy treatments and services including facial treatments, body massage and treatments, hair removal, lash and brow treatments, nail and make-up services.

CERTIFICATE IV IN MASSAGE THERAPY

National Qualification Code: HLT42021. *This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.* The Certificate IV in Massage Therapy is designed for people wanting to become a Massage Therapist. In this role, you provide general health maintenance treatments. Massage therapists may be self-employed or work within a larger health service or related beauty salon or clinical setting.

CERTIFICATE III IN NAIL TECHNOLOGY

National Qualification Code: SHB30321. *This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.* The Certificate III in Nail Technology covers the skills and knowledge you need to enhance nail appearance. The nail technology skills in this course is focused on providing manicure and pedicure services, including the application of nail art and acrylic and gel nail enhancements.
